Panel Session Sets Outlines for Investing Talented People for the Next 50 Years

The UAE Talented Association organized a panel session entitled “Investing Emirati Talented People” implemented through visual communication technology under the initiative of “Non-Benefit Public Dialogues” and launched by the Ministry of Community Development in cooperation with the next 50-years preparation committee and the participation of non-benefit public associations in the UAE as part of engaging all the community members, Emiratis and residents, to design the future of the UAE and develop components of the UAE Centennial plan, the UAE's comprehensive development plan for the next 50 years as directed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The session came out with a set of ideas, initiatives and proposals related to the vision of nurturing and developing Emirati talented and gifted people to promote the government and community efforts that shape 2071 society based on competitiveness, creativity and innovation. Such ideas and proposals reflect and enrich the overall development plan of the UAE.

Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and General Security in Dubai, Chairman Board of Directors of UAE Talented Association called all government authorities to provide care for talented people emphasizing the need to appoint an executive management in charge to follow up these talented people and take care of them. Excellency Dhahi Khalfan cited his recent visit to South Korea and the great interests they gave to talented people.

His Excellency added during the session that talented people are considered a national wealth and treasure, it is the society’s national duty to preserve it them and invest their talents that would highly contribute to its development of the nation and ensure its security, stability and future.

The session was moderated by Marwan Al Hel, Media Figure and attended by the members of board of directors: Dr. Mansour Al Awar-Deputy Chairman of the Association, Amina Safar-Secretary general, Brigadier Engineer Walid Al Mannaei, Director of Development and Innovation at the office of Deputy Chairman of Police and General Security in Dubai, Dr. Shafea Al Neyadi, Dr. Saif Al Jaberi, Diala Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, Lieutenant Colonal Zaid Al Sabooni, Association Media Advisor, Dr. Manahel Thabet, Scientific Advisor and Dr. Hessa Bin Haidar.

The session also discussed a number of topics related to talented people, such as: development of modern scientific curricula, academic acceleration to support talented people, development of the distance learning system, setting up a modern methodology for the evaluation and discovery of talented people, the need for a 10-year proactive plan to keep up with the latest technology, and training talented people to activate them.

The session also touched highlighted the need to stipulate special laws for talented people and to care for them, develop a welfare and preparation plan for talented people in rare fields, use "Blockchain" technology to connect the ideas of talented people in the UAE and follow their performance, and prepare the largest number of talented professionals to enter the fifth industrial revolution.

The 50 design initiatives are supervised by the 50-year preparation committee are working on the involvement of various community members in the development plan of the preparation plan for the next 50 years, to enrich the comprehensive development plan with new ideas, identify challenges faced by the members of the society, expand the scope of government knowledge in order to meet the expectations of individuals for the future.

The UAE next 50-years design project includes a number of interactive initiatives between both government and private sectors and the community members to collaborate jointly in creating ideas and drawing the features of the future in all sectors and fields through various activities and events organized by the next 50-years Higher Committee such as seminars and design sessions.
