The Human Resources Sector at Dubai Media Incorporated organized the "Media Explorer" summer training program aimed at preparing promising young media talents. The program targeted individuals aged between 16 and 21 years.
The program commenced on July 24th and concluded yesterday on August 17th, encompassing 100 hours of practical training across various aspects of media work within Dubai Media Incorporated sectors. A total of 23 students graduated from the program.
The program included various training courses, involving hands-on training in channels, radio, and different departments affiliated with Dubai Media Incorporated. Additionally, field trips were organized to the premises of "Al Bayan" newspaper, "Masar" platform, printing and publishing facilities, aimed at acquainting participants with the specialized skills required in various aspects of journalism.
Furthermore, the program comprised of 3 workshops tailored for students, aiming to boost self-confidence, equip them with writing skills, and provide insights into conducting media interviews.
Concluding the program, graduation projects of participating students were presented, and certificates were distributed.
The event was attended by Sara Al Jarman, Head of Television and Radio Channels, Mohsen Hassan, Director of Radio Management, and Nasser bin Touq, Director of Administrative Affairs at Dubai Media Incorporated.
