One of the pioneering media organizations and creative services group in the Middle East, Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) pursues an active agenda to communicate and interact with various community groups throughout the Arab world. In line with this objective, DMI’s Society Department was established as a platform to connect with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
Through implementing an aggressive Society Department calendar, the department seeks to reiterate its responsibility towards the community and highlight important social issues among various groups, such as people with special needs, the elderly, orphans, the sick, widows, divorcees, as well as families with limited income.
In addition to interacting closely with the target groups to identify their immediate concerns, DMI’s Society Department also works on resolving their issues through offering appropriate solutions and hands-on support.
The Society Department further highlights DMI’s social role through launching on-air awareness campaigns that best serve the interests of the community. Internally, it mobilizes the participation of all DMI employees to join hands and volunteer for its initiatives, fostering a spirit of partnership and camaraderie among the staff members.
