Dubai: April 28, 2010 - Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) received Ideas.Arabia 5th International Conference award – Idea of the Year category, in recognition of DMI’s remarkable achievement in technology and productivity fields. The award was presented by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Honorary Patron of the Dubai Quality Group, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates Group, for MR. Faisal Abdalla, DMI’s CEO of Corporate Support, Hassan Chahine, DMI Chief Technology Officer, in the presence of Dr. Wafi Dawood, Chairman of Dubai Quality Group, Abdulqader Obeid Ali Chairman of Sub-group (Ideas.Arabia), and a number of executives involved in initiative systems and employees motivation programs.

The CEO of Corporate Support reminded of agreements and partnerships that have been signed with a number of official bodies in UAE, such as the a convention of cooperation with the Higher Colleges of Technology in the areas of training of students and implementation of a series of joint ventures and investment of human and logistical capabilities and potentialities, to produce quality programs that DMI intend to produced in the future.”
Hassan Chahine, DMI Chief Technology Officer commented that the creative idea developed and implemented by DMI, known as (Live Mobile Broadcast), is designed to save time, effort and additional costs that all contribute to the development of institutional work, as well as assistance in the redesign and development of the daily operations in an innovative environment and within the scope of the new economy. This technology is characterized by the possibilities of high quality on-set live broadcast with speed of processing without the need for specialised engineers for execution as previously utilised systems.
