When DMI began to take practical steps to enhance the performance of its employees, it established a Media Training Center with that aim of evoking a distinguished media cadre in the varied media fields it operates in, such as photography, direction, preparation, presentation, lighting, design and decoration.
The Media Centre operates under the supervision of the Department of Human Resources, hiring qualified media professionals to train fresh graduate candidates from various institutes and colleges in UAE.
The first training session that inaugurated the Training Centre took place on Sunday, September 4, 2005, and included forty trainees, for a period of three months from the date of opening.
